FRANZÖSISCHE FILMTAGE TÜBINGEN-STUTTGART

The French Film Festival Tübingen | Stuttgart is the largest francophone film festival in the German-speaking world and has been an integral part of the cultural landscape in the Tübingen-Stuttgart region for over forty years. In addition to the main festival location in Tübingen, the festival and its program have also established themselves over the years in Reutlingen, where the idea for the festival was born, as well as in Rottenburg and Stuttgart. Every year, the Film Days offer a platform for up-and-coming talent and established filmmakers. Films that can often only be seen in Germany as part of the festival are presented in exclusive premieres. The numerous international guests from France, Switzerland, Belgium, Quebec and French-speaking Africa ensure unique encounters and an incomparable festival atmosphere.

The extensive supporting program, which includes film talks, encounters with artists, discussions and musical events, also contributes to this.
A total of almost 200 film screenings and events attract around 15,000 viewers to the cinemas every year. The crowning highlight and conclusion of the festival are the award ceremonies in various categories.
