Frente Salsero presents: Fierecita (Lima)

As summer bids farewell, the Frente Salsero collective is bringing the heat back to King Georg. On October 25, the DJ collective returns to its living room - this time with a special guest from the Latin American diaspora: Manuel Vela alias Fierecita.

Fierecita is more than just a record collector. He is an archaeologist of sounds, a researcher of culture. He has been a musician since 2007, a collector since 2009 and a vinyl selector since 2022. His mission is to liberate forgotten anthems of Latin American pop culture from the archives - songs that are almost impossible to find digitally and bring sabor to the dance floor.

On this evening, salsa's driving horns meet boogaloo, merengue, zouk, cumbia and many other rhythms from the Cultura Afro Latina! It remains eclectic, it remains Calle and at the same time unashamedly sophisticated!
