Neanderthals lived around 42,000 years ago in the Neandertal valley near Düsseldorf. The tour delves into the fascinating world of our common ancestor, whose original skeleton can be seen in the LVR-Landesmuseum Bonn. In recent years, modern science has gained numerous new insights into these early humans, such as what they ate, what climate they lived in and whether they are related to us. The tour sheds light on Neanderthals, how they lived, how their skeletons were found and how they are still being researched today.
