A very ordinary open-plan office in a very ordinary administration in a very ordinary place. Sometime at the end of this century. Busy people everywhere. They type, they staple, they staple, they copy, they are annoyed about the coffee cups being too small. Everything seems normal in the office, were it not for the strange ocean-blue stain on the wall that spreads almost imperceptibly, or the paranormal phenomenon that tears open the wounds of everyday office life almost as it passes by. There are signs of the disaster that is tearing the outside world apart. Democracy is at an end, various species are already extinct. But no matter how cracked the walls, no matter what animals are washed up in front of the printer: The bureaucracy lives happily in (supposedly) stable security behind the administrative walls and allows all the interpersonal anger that only exists between office colleagues.

With the world premiere of the version for puppet theater, director Pablo Lawall explores with the MiR Puppentheater the extraordinary opportunities that can be expressed in the meeting of new drama and puppetry, and also asks about our future in the light of climate catastrophe and the democratic crisis.
