Bu.d.d.A.

Bu.d.d.A. (Bund des dritten Auges) is the duo of Sascha Stadlmeier (EMERGE,
attenuation circuit) and Chris Sigdell (B°TONG, Leaden Fumes). It is dedicated to meditative ambient drone music and, in contrast to their respective solo projects, the two musicians play conventional instruments here - electric guitar and electric violin.
Since their formation in 2019, Bu.d.d.A. have released several limited edition EPs and albums
released. Their latest work is a CD together with the German drone guitarist N (Hellmut Neidhardt), which was released on Drone Records. It has received many good reviews. Bu.d.d.A. have played at various festivals and completed several international tours alone or together with like-minded artists such as Drekka, N or Bebawinigi. They have also supported well-known names such as Bohren & the Club of Gore and The Legendary Pink Dots.
The most recent album is 13, which was released on CD by Drone Records in 2025.

In addition to his work as a composer and performer, Stadlmeier has realized various sound
sound installations and a radio composition for WDR's Studio Akustische Kunst. The label attenuation circuit, which he runs, has established itself as an important platform for the international experimental music scene since 2010 and has released over 100 artists from numerous countries to date. attenuation circuit also regularly organizes concerts with mostly experimental music in Augsburg.
