Game On! Amerikahaus Board Game Night

In the organizer's words:

Join us at Amerikahaus for our third free board game night with snacks and drinks! Game On! will take place in our Research Center and Karolinensaal on the first upper floor (wheelchair accessible).

Schedule:

6:00 p.m.: Official start, Amerikahaus staff will present a game or two and kick off a couple of games. All other tables and games can also get started!

circa 8:00 p.m.: Second brief game presentation by Amerikahaus staff, with invitation to join in.

9:30 p.m.: End of event

How it works:

Sign up: We would like to get an idea of how many people will join Game On! Please sign up for the event if you know you would like to attend. If you want to join spontaneously without signing up in advance, please do so!

Feel free to arrive at any time during the board game night's duration. Anyone 18 years old and older is welcome, and you can join either individually or as a group - the idea is to have a board game-filled evening while meeting old and new acquaintances alike.

BOYG: Bring your own English-language games. Some limited numbers of games will be provided, but the more you bring, the better the variety will be.

Amerikahaus will provide tables and general board game supplies like pencils and paper. Amerikahaus will also provide some snacks, tea, soft drinks and water. You may feel free to bring your own food and drinks if you would like. We ask that if you do bring snacks and drinks to please be mindful of possible allergens and strong smells, and to share or consume others' snacks and drinks at your own risk.

Participation is free and open to anyone 18 years old and up.

Please register in advance for the event by sending an e-mail to bibliothek@amerikahaus.de with the number of people you would like to register.

You can still attend even if you have not registered in advance.
