Claude Meier is a much sought-after and busy electric and double bass player in the scene. Many musicians, including international ones, whether jazz, rock or country, point their thumbs up when they hear his name. He composes, arranges and writes music for numerous formations and bands. He plays concerts on tour in Switzerland, Europe, Japan, South Korea, etc. He carries and plays his sound on theater stages, in clubs and concert halls. Claude Meier makes his basses vibrate and jubilate, regardless of whether the strings are as thick as wire ropes or as thin as spaghetti. The wood creaks, the melody groans and shimmers, it hammers, knocks and scrapes. Meier risks a big bass. The listener's ears perk up in amazement at the music Claude Meier lets spill over the edge of the stage with just four strings, all bass. Today he presents the new Ablum with his band "Garn"!
