GAST is a two-piece post-punk band from Tübingen. Tim and Linus decorate unusual arrangements with analog new wave sounds from antiquarian electronics, with choral walls of sound and with painful and honest German lyrics. After the great success of their debut single "fallen", the self-titled EP followed in November 2022. The second EP "kaputt gehen" was released with great fanfare in September. 2023 - the release show became an artistic boxing performance. In this EP, GAST show their entire musical facet from technoid beats to indie guitars, proving that they fit into more than just one genre.
The duo already performed on the showcase stages of the Reeperbahn and Kiezkultur festivals in fall 2023, as well as in front of sold-out audiences at headline shows. GAST played their own tour together with TEER in November 2024:"GAST küsst TEER".
