Painting with watercolors as part of the "Punctum" exhibition on Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we are opening up a creative space for encounters and expression. In the midst of the "Punctum" exhibition, we invite young adults and adults to discover the special nature of watercolor: experiment and let colors flow into each other - without control, but with intention.

The workshop is aimed at adults (m/f/d) - with a mother, without a mother, as a daughter, friend or simply as a person with a passion for color. It's not about perfection, but about presence. Not about technical stress, but about the courage to let things flow.

What you can expect:

- Introduction to basic watercolor techniques
- Inspiration from the "Punctum" exhibition
- Free work with guidance
- Exchange in an appreciative atmosphere

Previous knowledge is not required. Materials will be provided.

Exhibition "Punctum - What hits you"

The three Bonn-based artists VLEO, Miriam Vida and Sijusch dedicate their exhibition to the punctum - that unexpected spark in the image that not only makes us look, but also feel.

The concept of the punctum, coined in 1980 by the philosopher and photographer Roland Barthes, is reinterpreted here. On display are paintings, drawings and mixed-media works that deal with feelings, memories, thoughts and the moment when a work of art begins.

The exhibition invites visitors to exchange ideas: Active hands-on elements and an accompanying workshop make it a lively experience.

"We want to provide deep insights into our works and their backgrounds. We welcome laughter, tears and all other emotions and thoughts. Let yourself be inspired by our works - perhaps you too will be struck by the unexpected."
