That's what it's all about

Moments when words strike: Comments about appearance, origin or one's own identity. Such experiences of exclusion often stick with us, make us angry or leave us at a loss. But what happens when we don't swallow these experiences, but speak up? In GENERATION WIDERSTAND, young people from the 9th grade onwards and young adults deal creatively with their everyday lives. In a protected space, they use the means of theater, dance and music to give form to their voices and experiences. GENERATION WIDERSTAND is not about perfection, but about empowerment and the question: how can we find the strength together to reclaim the image of the "other" and strengthen each other?

Here, the young people are on stage as experts in their own lives. Together with an actor and a theater teacher, they develop their own scenes from their thoughts and strengths. What does exclusion feel like and what does resistance look like that doesn't burn us out, but strengthens us?
