Gentleman has made reggae from Germany international. For thirty years, the Cologne native has been making music history as the only European to celebrate huge successes worldwide with authentic riddims. With gold and platinum award-winning #1 albums such as "Confidence" (2004) and "Diversity" (2010), twenty Top 100 singles, 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners and a further 1.5 million followers across all platforms, tours through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the USA, South America and Africa, collaborations with Sean Paul, Ky-Michael, Ky-Michael, Ky-Michael and others. with Sean Paul, Ky-Mani Marley, Aloe Blacc, Shaggy and Pink, as well as the first ever "MTV Unplugged" production for a reggae artist, Gentleman has been a globally recognized superstar of the genre for decades.

After his first LPs defined the reggae sound at the turn of the millennium and gave an entire generation its own voice, GENTLEMAN is releasing his ninth studio album GRATITUDE in 2026. The 18 new tracks were created on Mallorca, Jamaica and in Miami with Jamaican producer Donovan 'Don Corleon' Bennett, who was also involved in "Intoxication" and "Diversity" and is known for his work with artists such as Rihanna, Sean Paul, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
