Geschichten aus der Dunkelheit - Einführung ins improvisierte Hörspiel

In the organizer's words:

A dark room without orientation, without light, without visual input; a group that first has to get to know each other and the spatial conditions. Using voice and language exercises as well as group dynamic impulses, we embark on a journey together through the darkness. During the course, phases in the dark room alternate with phases in the light room.

Initially, we will deal with frequently used background noises, use the voice as a tool and work on choral elements of various kinds. As the change of speaker also takes place in the dark, we playfully develop methods for giving and taking focus.

Building on this, we will deal with story telling. The aim is to create an arc of suspense in the course of individual stories and to work out the central cornerstones of the dramaturgy of the radio play.

In order to do justice to the special form of this genre, the focus is now on figurative language. Work on the voice-over in the form of a scene announcement rounds off this part.

The highlight is an improvised radio play with all the parameters developed in the workshop.
