Gidiki (Athen) - Unity in Diversity 2026

With their adaptations, they manage to transfer the traditional songs into the present day and inspire young and old in Greece and abroad. Their concerts are full of emotion, dance and joy. Worth mentioning are their collaborations with renowned Greek musicians such as Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Villagers of Ioannina City, Hainides, Matoula Zamani and many others.

Gidiki was founded in 2014 in Thessaloniki, Greece, and has since played numerous gigs in the city and throughout Greece. Tasos Kofodimos, Konstantinos Lazos, Konstantis Papakonstantinou and Thodoris Sioutis experiment with various traditional songs from Greece and fuse them with modern vibes. Their own and unique performance style has been very well received by the local audience and opened the doors to foreign stages for the band.

The four multi-instrumentalists use different instruments (Greek lute, clarinet, Greek bagpipes, guitar, violin, drums) that can create the variety of sounds of traditional Greek songs and combine them with modern vibes.
