Guitar workshop for songwriters

If you play guitar and write your own songs, but always use the same strumming or plucking patterns and are stuck in your well-worn "three-chord pattern", then this workshop is just right for you. With specific techniques using practical examples, this workshop will show you new ways to take your songs to a new level and create an exciting and versatile arrangement that will bring out your vocal melody even better.

Prerequisite: basic knowledge of chords, own guitar. The workshop is aimed at songwriters who have already written their own songs and want to improve them in terms of harmonies, strumming and plucking patterns.

Duration: 4 x 45 min

Instructor: Micha Schlüter studied classical guitar at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen and has been performing live as a songwriter in various line-ups for many years. His albums have been highly praised by the music press and have made it onto numerous radio programs and the best song lists, and he also works as a lyricist and composer for various theater and dance projects. As a workshop leader, he combines his long experience as a guitar teacher with his compositional and guitar skills.
