Following the enthusiastic response to past performances, a piece of music history is returning to the Main metropolis: on Sunday, March 14, 2027 at 6 pm, the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra under the direction of Uli Plettendorff will once again perform at the Alte Oper Frankfurt.

The ensemble will revive the unmistakable sweet and swing sound of the 30s and 40s in the Great Hall under the characteristic motto "SWING FOREVER" .

Hardly any other name is as inextricably linked with the big band era as that of Glenn Miller. His unique vocals and the harmonies of his compositions are timeless classics. The orchestra not only brings the golden era to the stage instrumentally, but also adds vocal highlights: The band singer as well as the four-part vocal group "Moonlight Serenaders" take the audience on a musical journey through time.

From classics such as "Moonlight Serenade" to lively world hits such as "In The Mood" or "Chattanooga Choo Choo", the show offers a program that will delight both long-time fans and new discoverers of the genre.

The perfection of the ensemble and the musicians' joy of playing promise a rousing concert evening in the Alte Oper.
