Cabaret meets classical music

Is there peace above all peaks...? Not at all! The Weimar cabaret is anything but quiet. Bernard Liebermann and Thierry Gelloz are to blame for this: in a colorful, musical and hilarious evening, they trace Goethe the Privy Councillor... and dare to compare his era with today.

It's clear: everything used to be better. Back then, today was tomorrow and yesterday was today - unimaginable today! What would impress the prince of poets more today - the artificial intelligence of machines or the natural stupidity of our fellow human beings?

The Weimar cabaret asks the important questions: Why did Napoleon look up to Goethe? And why did he turn a deaf ear to Beethoven? The two word acrobats Liebermann and Gelloz twist their tongues and strain your laughing muscles: Weimar with wit, cabaret with classical music, Goethe with gags... Enjoy yourself (Erl)royally! The Weimar cabaret

was founded in 2023 by Bernard Liebermann after five years as a member of the ensemble and in-house author at the Leipziger Pfeffermühle. Together with Thierry Gelloz and Daniel Grasz, he re-established a permanent cabaret stage in Weimar, which quickly won the hearts of the audience and the city. Daniel Grasz is also a regular guest at the hinterbuehne with his duo Bermuda Zweieck.
