In April, GreenScreen invites you to a screening of Silent Friend (2025) with an introduction by Joanne Rodriguez (Global Heritage Lab, University of Bonn). The film by Ildikó Enyedi tells three stories about a ginkgo tree that are linked over a century. In poetic tranquillity, it combines perception, knowledge and the relationship between man and nature and encourages decelerated, attentive viewing.

Joanne Rodriguez, curator at the Global Heritage Lab, researches sustainability, decolonization and climate justice in art institutions.
