Before the Grindhouse takes a long break until September, we're going to give you a real treat - or two in our "Crazy Asian Double Feature"! Two films that combine a whole host of genres, or at least try to: Action, fantasy, comedy, science fiction, martial arts, romance, end times, war... It's pretty intense what's going on here. You won't find more movie for your money anywhere else!
Film 1 - with a running time of 2 hours and in English (unfortunately without subtitles) - combines swordplay, machine guns, explosions, awesome stunts and... time travel. The movie never made it to Germany! So do you want to miss it?
After that, the evening finally derails: movie 2 (in German) is pure madness. It really packs everything in (action, war, comedy, fights, end times, strange masks, motorcycles etc.) and completely falls apart into its individual parts. At its best moments it's a tear-jerking joy-fest, but at every moment it's a reason to shake your head violently - we're not liable for any damage to the cervical spine! You just can't believe this cinematic delirium. It will last until September!
