"Waking up in Toy-Town" brings together various artistic positions from the Rennert Gallery portfolio and invites you to see familiar impressions with new eyes. The pop-up exhibition ranges from moments in which cuteness tips over into the uncanny to the suggestive power of abstract forms. The result is an aesthetic field of tension in which the familiar is exposed and not safety but play becomes a place of refuge.
