Discussion with Julia Willie Hamburg

If we think of the municipality as the nucleus and powerhouse of society, then the question of how citizens can participate beyond elections and actively shape the municipality is central! At the next Green Salon, we will therefore be exploring the questions of how good local participation can work and what it takes for different perspectives and concerns to be taken on board. What experiences have we had with participation processes in recent years? What factors make them successful - and how can we avoid frustration caused by a mismatch between personal commitment and impact? How can we make even better use of the potential of participation?

Julia Willie Hamburg, Member of Parliament B'90/Die Grünen, Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, explores these questions in conversation with:
