GYPSY POWER TOUR 2025

In the organizer's words:

There is an astonishing diversity of Sinti, Roma and gypsy cultures* in the Rhineland. Both long-established families of musicians and immigrant artists from Eastern Europe and Southern Europe.

We want to preserve and promote this wealth, not least because this musical and festive culture can play an important role in a peaceful, sustainable society. We have already seen this at many events in the Cologne area, e.g. at the Rhenish Gypsy Festivals or the Gypsy Wagon Tours.

As some of the artists involved are also very good music teachers and cultural mediators, the "Gypsy Power Tour" now offers exciting workshops and concerts between Cologne and Düsseldorf, giving music-loving amateurs an insight into the great musical traditions.

*The artists involved use the old cultural term "gypsy" with pride and want to strengthen its positive side.

Experience the rhythm of the Gypsy Rumba!
