Hair loss affects millions of people - and is far more than just a cosmetic problem. In the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger medical talk at Cologne's Domforum, dermatologist Margaretha Skorupka talks about the most common forms of hair loss, the latest dermatological findings and effective treatment approaches.

Every second man is affected by hair loss by the age of 50. But every third woman also experiences some form of hair loss in the course of her life, some are hormonal, others are due to stress or a lack of nutrients. Sometimes it is also due to illnesses such as alopecia areata or skin diseases. Margaretha Skorupka explains the medical context and gives effective tips on preventing and treating hair loss caused by illness.
