Habak from Tijuana/Mexico have been causing a stir in the DIY scene since 2015 with their emotionally charged music, which is somewhere between crust, screamo and post-metal and to which they gave the label "crust melódico". Over the course of three albums and various EPs and split releases, the band led by charismatic frontwoman Alejandra Valdez has created its own dark, emotional musical pigeonhole. They skillfully blend aggressive d-beat punk and seething screamo-inspired hardcore with sweeping melodic passages. Their lyrics explore themes such as loneliness and mental anguish without ever missing a hint of hope and confidence. After two short DIY stints in Europe in 2019 and 2024, they are now returning and will also be playing at the legendary Roadburn Festival in Tilburg as part of a European tour.

Support act: Löri

Löri is a four-piece DIY hardcore punk band that formed between 2013 and 2014 in Lima/Peru and whose musical influences range from screamo, crust, post-metal and hardcore to shoegaze. The band released an EP, two split albums and their debut album "Obtusion//Aversion" until 2018, before taking a long break. In January 2024, they released their self-titled second album, an 8-track concept album with songs that had been written in Peru since 2019 and recorded remotely between 2021 and 2023 despite a number of hurdles. In the meantime, the remaining core members of the band have relocated to Berlin and have now reformed with new collaborators to continue their musical journey.
