Fucked-Up Interactive Horror Comedy

HAPPY PLACE is an interactive live simulation between cynicism and real nightmare.

This unique Halloween event in Cologne celebrates the spookiest time of the year with a different kind of haunted house.

Horror and comedy merge into a unique theatrical experience that takes our audience into the depths of the eternally pulsating algorithm. The production spans several theatrical experience spaces and is brought to life by professional acting.

HAPPY PLACE tells stories about systematically generated depression for the benefit of commercialization. The thin line between information that generates education and misinformation that stirs up fear, hatred and agitation is blurred in the fog.

The 70-minute show is open to anyone over the age of 18.

We ask our audience to arrive at the Orangerie Theater 10 minutes before the booked time to ensure that the show starts on time.

FreAkademy Cologne was founded in 2017 and has since produced more than 20 different productions, mainly in the Cologne area.

Drama, dance, short film and performance art merge into a theatrical frenzy in which a fourth wall often no longer exists at all. Illuminating human imperfection is at the heart of the work. FreAkademy is comedy, sadness, lust, pain and madness all under one roof. The plays are usually conceived as a parcours in which the audience passes through several theatrical experience spaces.

Important: We ask our audience to come to the event in weatherproof clothing so that they can walk through the outdoor area without any problems
