Harburger Gespräche: Weltpolitik im Umbruch – und was bedeutet das für uns?

The world order is noticeably shifting: new centers of power, increasing geopolitical rivalries and an international policy that is once again more characterized by influence and interests. Are we facing a new phase of global power politics - perhaps even a renaissance of imperialism?

The Harburg Talks bring together politicians, academics and the public to openly discuss precisely such questions. After kicking off the series on the role of quality journalism, this time the focus will be on the broad lines of foreign and security policy and how the international order is currently changing.

Metin Hakverdi, Member of the German Bundestag and Transatlantic Coordinator of the German Federal Government, Ziad Al-Asmar from the German Institute for International and Security Affairs and peace and security researcher Ursula Schröder from the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy will talk about this. The evening will be moderated by Holger Lange, former State Councillor.

An evening for all those who want a well-founded debate instead of quick headlines - and would like to bring their questions on international politics with them.
