Hardy Rittner's highly acclaimed book on "Chopin's Forgotten Cantilenas" (Bärenreiter), a "great enrichment" for Chopin lovers and "compulsory reading" for pianists (BR-Klassik), forms the background for his second concert tour.

In his inimitable introverted-expressive manner, the exceptional pianist presents this year's Chopin program, which includes etudes, mazurkas and the well-known Fantaisie-Impromptu op. 66 in completely new vocal interpretations. Rittner attaches particular importance to concisely explaining his findings on "Chopin's forgotten Cantilene" to the audience and illustrating them with sound examples.
