With a mix of R&B, hip-hop and modern indie pop, Hasan Raheem from Pakistan has become a globally acclaimed artist. Back in 2022, Forbes described Hasan Raheem as a prodigy making waves in the Pakistani music scene. Since then, he has released two albums and attracted international attention with singles and collabs. In May, he will be coming to Berlin and Frankfurt on his European tour.
Hasan Raheem grew up in the quiet Pakistani town of Gilgit, surrounded by mountains. Music was initially something he enjoyed and pursued in his free time. He used it as a vehicle to express his feelings, express himself and jam with friends while studying medicine in Karachi. In 2018, he began working on his own music and released his first single. Two years later, he achieved greater success with the song "Aisay Kaisay" feat. Abdullah Kasumbi, which made him famous within the Pakistani indie scene with his independent genre mix. Hasan Raheem mixes everything that feels honest to the artist and also reveals subtle soul and rock aspects in the sound of the hit single.
After further singles such as "Joona" feat. Abdullah Kasumbi and "Aarzu" feat. Umair, Hasan Ra heem released his debut album "Nautanki" in 2022 as well as other singles, of which "Peechay Hutt" feat. Justin Bibis & Tala Qureshi stands out. This was followed in 2023 by the EP "Maybe, It's Love", which contains the artist's biggest hit to date, "Wishes". Hasan Raheem still describes himself as the same guy who writes his lyrics in notebooks, stays up late, searches for new melodies and always tries to stay true to himself. He experiments with different vibes between chilled and danceable beats as well as versatile genre influences, which are also evident on his second album "Dil Kay Parday" (2025).
