HEALING HATE - Caravan of LUV, Elia Rediger & int int irrit and Wiener Westwochen (Vienna/Basel/Berlin)

Is the time ripe for a Woodstock 3.0? What can we do to counter this turbulent world? According to studies, there are over 110 million love songs, with around 2,000 being added every day. This is where singer, director and pop artist Elia Rediger comes in, creating a glamorous opening for the 35th euro-scene Leipzig at the Leipzig Opera.

The twelve-member musical performance collective Caravan of LUV comes directly from the Vienna Festival and starts its Healing Tour through Europe from Leipzig. As a modern commune, the twelve musicians live and rehearse in their caravans and create new rituals and love songs. Between ecstasy and silence, between music theater, performance and magical moments, Caravan of LUV creates a space in which pain, love and rock'n roll meet in an impressive way.

Each city focuses on a different theme. Prominent guests from culture and society join the band on stage and create a program full of surprising moments. HEALING HATE is no ordinary concert, but a musical-performative happening that deals with the fractures of our present. An evening of friction, reflection - and a radical invitation: What if we began not only to name hate, but to transform it into love through empathy, music and community?
