In a small American suburb, young people try to escape the monotony of their everyday lives with risky games. Among them is Bunny Boy, who, with his bunny ears and shorts, becomes the silent observer of a disoriented generation. Young Solomon collects cats, which he sells, while his mother tries to come to terms with him and the memories of his deceased father. Alongside them are other charismatic characters, all struggling in their own way with loneliness, longing and growing up. Beneath the rough surface, a sensitive portrait of young people's search for closeness and meaning is revealed.
