Celtic spirituality for today ✨From the 5th century onwards, a highly vital Christian movement traveled Europe's waterways and land routes, spreading the gospel in Central Europe in a fascinating way. With an understanding of the Gospel that differed in many ways from mainstream theology: the Celtic - or more precisely Irish and Scottish - monks. Later a lay movement that produced spiritual treasures independently of the church hierarchy. Their practice of faith, their way of life, their reference to everyday life and their wisdom are still fascinating and relevant to us today.
