HofKultur 2025 – #5 ORNELLA

With her music, Cologne-based artist ORNELLA builds a bridge between her Latin American roots and her passion for pop and R&B. She touches listeners with a combination of warm guitar riffs, emotional lyrics and catchy vocal lines.
Growing up in a Chilean musical family, ORNELLA discovered her love for music at an early age, improvising melodies and lyrics to the sounds of her father's guitar. After working exclusively as an instrumentalist and sidewoman in various bands for a long time, she finally felt the desire and courage to write her own songs and share them.
For her, making music is all about one thing: touching and immersing herself and her audience in the music.
Her songs tell of self-doubt, fears, the beauty of life, courage and friendly love. With her debut EP "Outset", released in 2023, she gives an insight into the beginning of her artistic journey.
