Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is as widespread as it is unexplored. Flicking the light switch on and off, turning the pillow for hours - knock on wood three times! Superstition, illness, insania? Loss of control, self-protection, point-of-no-return?

The artist LIA was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder ("OCD") for the first time at the age of 14. The image of this illness has many faces. For those affected, as well as for the generalized outsider. Trendy illness and mostly misunderstood, wanting things to be "just a bit neat" or symmetry on the shelf do not constitute a clinical picture without consequence.

In HOLZ, the Munich-based artist explores her own inexplicability and the daily madness of the sick mind.

The performance "Hedonism or Violence" will introduce the vernissage, but will only take place on the 5th.
