Dear audience, in this year of crises and catastrophes, it is high time for some solid survival training in the theater! And who better to help us than Hildegard Knef, the grand master of survival skills, who would have celebrated her one hundredth birthday this year? In this experimental concert performance, a cross-over band conjures up Knef as a much-needed mentor from the afterlife to train us to carry on. HILDE HILF! The three stranded people mix up Knef's life, lyrics and songs, as well as their own life experiences, and reassemble everything. The result is an unembellished montage about reinvention, the courage to face life, the agony of death and the search for the essence of being human: Who could we have been?
