Jennifer Hill (Camille Keaton) has rented a small cottage in a remote corner of New England for the summer to find peace and quiet and the time to finish writing her novel. She enjoys the silence, beauty and seclusion of nature. But this idyll is abruptly shattered when Jennifer attracts the attention of a group of men in the area, who one day even pursue her, abduct, torture and rape her. The young, prudent woman is dead. What remains of her is a vengeful monster who wants to take revenge on her tormentors with cruel violence in order to get satisfaction.
