Ich in den Herbstferien - Filmbilder zu Memes

In the organizer's words:

"Me on the first day of school after the vacations" a tattered penguin with greasy fur runs through the picture. This is what a meme that you come across on social media could look like. Memes find images for physical and mental states that we cannot express with words. And they usually make us laugh.

By looking at an image from a new perspective, we see something unexpected in it. This is exactly what we want to do with you in the fall holiday workshop: With a fresh look, throw new perspectives on moving images. And put memes together from them.

To do this, we will watch various films from a century of film history in which people transform, change or take on a new form.

From these films, you will then select the scenes or images that have inspired you and combine them with what they have to do with you to create a meme.

In between, of course, we discuss the films, work with scissors and glue and move around from time to time - so that our ideas just sprout.

At the end, we will put your works together in a small digital exhibition.

October 20-24, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Exhibition with invitation of parents and friends October 24 at 4 to 5 pm

(If you need longer supervision because the times are not compatible with your parents' working hours, please let us know. We can usually arrange this).
