ID Select. Frese Designpreis

In the organizer's words:

The "ID Select" exhibition shows the final projects nominated for the Frese Design Prize from the Integrated Design course at the University of the Arts Bremen. The prize, endowed with 12,000 euros, has been awarded annually since 2014 to promote young designers in the Hanseatic city of Bremen. 16 Bachelor's and Master's graduates have been nominated for the Frese Design Prize 2026. A broad spectrum of artistic media such as film, photography, graphics, illustration, installation, fashion, performance, product design, sculpture and video can be experienced. The exhibition offers insights into individual creative positions and allows visitors to experience the diversity of contemporary design approaches. On the subject of building culture alone, visitors can expect to see works such as a Bremen bunker archive, a wind turbine converted into a tiny house or a documentation of the European phenomenon of still-functioning buildings.
