Impro Theater Workshop

In the organizer's words:

For two days, we will take to the stage of the Theaterfabrik and perform improv theater together. Without any fixed guidelines, we will find our way into spontaneous play together, using techniques from movement theater and character work. Our workshop starts with a joint warm-up: we activate the voice, loosen up the body and get ready for the play.

In small groups and partner work, we try out different play settings, awaken creative impulses and explore the rules, mechanisms and magic of improvisation. Sometimes it's about appearing absolutely convincing on stage with total cluelessness and the next moment we calmly give a character exactly the depth it needs.

This workshop is a space for experimentation and discovery. Together we look at what gives us the joy of playing and what moves us. Whether you are curious or already have experience: come along and try it out. I look forward to seeing you.
