In the organizer's words:

Improvising without limits

On this special Saturday, seven musicians who have never played together in this constellation will come together. Each brings their own story, their own musical cosmos. In the openness of the unplanned, in the free flow of improvisation, something unique can unfold - a moment that only arises in the here and now, beyond reproduction and calculation.

Harald Grosskopf is a drummer, composer and a legend of electronic music. With Ash Ra Tempel , he shaped Krautrock and, in close collaboration with Klaus Schulze, developed a rhythmic foundation that inspired generations. He was the first drummer to combine his drum set with sequencers, opening a new chapter in the interplay between rhythm and electronics. His career has taken him from Wallenstein and the NDW band Lilly Berlin to numerous solo and collaborative projects. To this day, his playing remains a pulsating foundation that combines electronic structures with human energy.

Dominik von Senger is a guitarist with an unmistakable sound. He was a formative member of the Cologne new wave experimental band Dunkelziffer and played in the legendary Phantom Band with Damo Suzuki, Jackie Liebezeit, Rosko Gee and Holger Czukay, among others. Three albums were recorded by legendary producer Conny Plank. As a solo artist, he released works such as The First (1983), Second (1995) and Brüsseler Platz (2019). His music builds bridges between the Krautrock tradition, Cologne's experimental scene and independent guitar compositions.

Jörg Burger is one of the pioneers of minimal techno in Germany and co-initiator of the "Sound of Cologne". With projects such as Burger Industries, The Bionaut, The Modernist and Triola, he covers a stylistic range from club-ready austerity to poetic ambient forlornness. In 1993, together with Wolfgang Voigt, Reinhard Voigt and Jürgen Paape, he opened the Delirium record store in Cologne - the nucleus of Kompakt. He has been shaping the electronic music landscape as a musician, producer and label founder for over three decades.

Since 1992,Schlammpeitziger has been creating his very own, simultaneously humorous and profound cosmos of electronic music. With old Casio synthesizers, quirky grooves and original album titles such as Freundlichbaracudamelodieliedgut or What's Fruit, he has earned himself a firm place in the heart of the scene. His latest work Meine Unterkunft ist die Unvernunft was released on Kompakt in 2024. In addition to his solo albums, he has collaborated with artists such as F. X. Randomiz and shaped the image of the electronic avant-garde with projects such as Holosud and innovative live video shows.

Endo Monk is the project of Cologne-based artist Frank Schnütgen. From a long history of bands and projects such as Hans Solo, Äi-Tiem, 3PM Posse, Phobos and Cosmicologne , he has developed an unmistakable artistic language. Since 2013, he has been living a radical mixture of improvisation, sound research and modular electronics as Endo Monk. His approach is both playful and serious, curious and fearless. Anyone who engages with him will discover unimagined sound spaces.

Angelos Gavrias is a sound and performance artist who regularly commutes between Germany and Greece. His works revolve around the gong as an acoustic instrument and sculptural object. In a field of tension between resonance, physicality and healing practice, he develops sound experiences that go far beyond hearing. Gavrias forges his gongs himself and uses them to create spaces in which vibrations become a tangible force. As a master student of Prof. Rita McBride at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, he combines artistic research with physical presence.

Ümit Han is a multi-faceted electronic musician and producer known for his warm ambient compositions. He has been releasing music regularly since 2006 and has been featured on Kompakt's Pop Ambient series since 2022. His album Magnetfeld with Harald Grosskopf was released on MIG Music in 2025. His music ranges from gentle, heart-opening compositions to dramatic, conceptual and experimental soundscapes, and the upcoming album will continue to unfold his poetic soundscape - carried by the vocals of Tülay German.

One evening, seven artists, one room - a unique meeting of musical universes, a shared listening, feeling and experience.
