Experience a guided tour that not only takes a look under the kettles, but also into the heart of the history of a true Leipzig beer legend.

Our tour takes you through the old vaults and historic cellars of the Leipziger Brauhaus zu Reudnitz - a brewery that has been at the industrial and cultural heart of the Reudnitz-Thonberg district since 1862. This site is now better known as the production site of the Sternburg brewery. While beer is still produced above ground today, a little-known area is hidden beneath the active brewery site: old cellars, which today have the character of a lost place.

The tour focuses on the history of the Sternburg brand, whose origins date back to 1822. Over time, the brand established itself as a major player in the German beer market. Following the closure of the original Lützschena brewery, production was relocated to the Reudnitz brewery, where it continues to this day.

During the tour, we will show you how beer was produced, stored and transported through the temples of the cellar back then. You will see original cellar rooms and vaults that have been used for decades. At each point, we will explain the technical processes, historical background and significance for the brand and the region. This tour is more than just a walk through old walls - it combines industrial history, beer culture and a lost-place atmosphere to give you a glimpse behind the scenes that would normally remain hidden.
