Insekten am und im Gewässer

Swift dragonflies, seemingly weightless water striders and voracious yellow fire beetles: discover the fascinating world of insects on and in the water!

As part of the EAZA Wetlands for Life campaign, the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum invites you to a special guided tour. Together with entomologist Manuel König, participants aged 16 and over will explore the diverse world of insects on and in the local waters around the museum.

Typical aquatic insects and their amazing adaptations to life in and around water will be presented. Participants will also learn about the key ecological importance of aquatic insects for bodies of water and the entire ecosystem.
