An afternoon on culture, the city and self-empowerment

The city is densifying - only our free spaces are shrinking. Funding logics, financial frustration, a labyrinth of permits - and while we are preoccupied with ourselves, the country is moving to the right. Right-wing parties, and those who adopt their positions, are gaining influence - with massive consequences for cultural spaces: through attacks on civil society actors, through cuts, ideological tests and the erosion of democratic programs.

But resistance arises where people come together. Where empty places become open spaces - for community, diversity and artistic freedom.

In Interferenz #3, we talk about self-organization, alliances instead of individual battles, about places that support us and about commons that are more than just a theoretical chapter. We will share experiences, network and look at what spaces we need, what spaces already exist and how we can maintain them.

A get-together between self-empowerment and tinkering with the urban future - for everyone who wants to shape the city and society with culture.
