Irina’s Quartet – Bachelorkonzert

In Irina's Quartet, her guitar has a similar role to that of the guitar in the history of music over the last 100 years: she combines and interweaves musical genres, eras, places and stretches out her feelers to the next modern sound. Irina's own compositions are FUSION in the best sense of the word.
Fusions of power ballads with blues sounds, modern jazz with Latin, funk in a jazz quartet setting, swing in a rock line-up. Irina works with catchy riffs, pocket, sometimes complex but still intuitively tangible melodies - presented with lively and passionate improvisation and interaction between the four musicians: Irina (guitar), Nicholas von der Nahmer (keys), Jonas Heck (drums) and Emil Buchholtz(electric bass).
