Irish Spring – Festival of Irish Folk Music

In the organizer's words:

Dear friends of the best Irish & Celtic Folk Music!

In 2026 we will once again be presenting a fine selection of folk music from Celtic regions!

This year's show kicks off with two legends of Irish ballad singing - Eleanor Shanley and Ultan Conlon. Eleanor has already wowed the 2023 Irish Spring Festival audience with her wonderful voice. For the 2026 festival, she was able to win folk singer Ultan Conlon as her singing partner. You can look forward to it!

The Conor Mallon Band from Northern Ireland will continue the show as a quartet and will really let it rip with the excellent uilleann piper Conor Mallon, who some may still know from the band Connla.

Another band on stage is the Iona Fyfe Trio. Iona Fyfe is regarded as one of Scotland's most talented young folk singers, which is confirmed not least by the fact that she already holds the prestigious "Musician of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards" title.

Lenka Fairy, who already captivated the audience in 2025, will once again be performing as a dancer. We are delighted that she has agreed to perform again.

As always, we wish you lots of anticipation!

Let the music keep your spirits high! Your team from heimatPR - the home for artists

Irish Spring Festival 2026!

Eleanor Shanley & Ultan Conlon
The former singer of the band De Danann and singer of the band Geradice, Eleanor Shanley, was on stage for years as a duet partner with the legendary singer of the Dubliners, Ronnie Drew. Today she also frequently performs with Mike Hanrahan, the singer of the band Stockton's Wing. Eleanor has chosen Ultan Conlon as her duet partner for the Irish Spring Festival. Ultan is not only an excellent singer, but also a much sought-after guitarist who has performed on stage with musical greats such as Bryan Ferry, Jackson Browne, Eddie Reader and Glen Hansard. You can look forward to this duo!

Conor Mallon Band
Conor Mallon has already performed at the Irish Spring Festival with the band Connla. He is regarded as one of the hottest representatives of the young Irish Uilleann Piper (bagpipe player) generation and has already won numerous prizes, including an All-Ireland Champion title. The members of his band are guitarist and singer Jack Warnock, Conor Markey plays the electric guitar and Fintan Mulholland is responsible for the percussion and whistle parts. All the musicians can already look back on an impressive musical CV. This Northern Irish quartet has brought the atmosphere to a boil in many halls and they will certainly keep our dancer Lenka quite busy!

Iona Fyfe Trio
Although the Aberdeen-born folk singer was already named Musician of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards in 2021, she is still considered an "insider tip" in this country. After the Irish Spring Festival Tour, this will certainly no longer be the case. Deeply rooted in the Scottish musical tradition and language on the one hand, and with modern interpretations and a modern choice of instruments, Michael Biggins (keyboard) and Rory Carter (mandolin), on the other, Iona knows how to skilfully span this arc. And when she also presents her "mouth music" skills on stage, our esteemed audience will have every reason to be amazed!

Lenka Fairy
Lenka wowed the audience at the Irish Spring Festival Tour 2025 so much that it was an easy decision to bring her back on tour in 2026. Lenka Fairy has won the European Irish Dance Championships and competed in the World Championships six times, not to mention numerous other trophies. Lenka is sure to delight the Irish Spring Festival audience with her dancing skills again in 2026!

And for the grand finale, all the bands will of course perform together on stage again!
