ISC - IlseVision Song Contest

The ESC is coming up and we're not letting ourselves get carried away and extending the whole thing to the globe!

Our ISC - the "IlseVision Song Contest" - is our very own, slightly offbeat declaration of love to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Meaning: It will be colorful, it will be loud, it will sometimes be a bit over the top - just the way you want it.

Glitter? Yes. Kitsch? Absolutely. Big gestures, small mishaps and surprising highlights? It's all part of it.

On this evening, bands compete against each other and each represent a country that they have secured in advance. With three songs per act, they try to bring this country to the stage musically - sometimes very close, sometimes completely freely interpreted.

The result is a wild mix of styles, ideas and approaches in which anything can happen. Of course, it's not just about performing, but also about winning: In the end, a classic vote decides who wins the evening.

On the one hand, the audience votes, on the other hand there is a jury - and only the combination of both scores determines who comes out on top. Excitement included.

There will also be no visual spillage: let yourself be surprised!

The evening will be hosted by Anja and Phylis, who will hold the whole thing together, comment on it, classify it and, in the best case, escalate it a little further.

In the end, the ISC is not a perfect competition - nor does it want to be. It's an evening for music, for fun and for exactly the kind of entertainment that you can't quite plan.
