ITFS Animation Special: COMIC CON Kick-off-Kinoabend mit BELLE

What do the ITFS and COMIC CON Stuttgart have in common? Of course: a love of fantasy, storytelling and extraordinary characters. We celebrate this love at the joint screening of BELLE, an anime by Mamoru Hosoda, inspired by "Beauty and the Beast".

What it's about:

After the death of her mother, 17-year-old schoolgirl Suzu lives a secluded life. When she enters the virtual world "U" one day, she transforms into Belle, who rises to become a world-famous singer. One day, Belle's concert is interrupted by a warrior who has disguised himself as a terrible beast and is being hunted by law enforcement officers. Belle sets off in search of the beast in order to discover his identity and find herself.
