Jacob Wagener Trio / Bayramoğlu-Glaner meet (Abschlusskonzert BA)

Percussionist Jacob Wagener's bachelor concert focuses on a personal program of his own compositions, which were created during his studies. Together with Kirill Kretsu (piano) and Lucas Kolbe (bass), the trio develops a sound language that combines clear structures with open spaces and gains tension from controlled form and improvisational flexibility. With Christian Höhn (trumpet) and Martin Löcken (saxophone), the line-up expands into an ensemble whose finely balanced tuning, tonal depth and alert interaction precisely illuminate the musical idea.

Aydin Bayramoğlu and Julian Glaner have a long-standing musical friendship, characterized by joint concerts, spontaneous sessions and an intuitive understanding that has grown over the years. A new duo emerged spontaneously from this familiarity - without a formulated plan, driven by artistic curiosity. In concert, a lively dialog develops out of the moment: Experience, confidence and the joy of playing come together to create an immediate, surprising interplay with a strong presence. The musical energy is fed by a shared history and gives the duo its unmistakable charm.
