JADED HEART
Jaded Heart was founded in Duisburg in 1994 and developed into a German-Swedish melodic metal/hard rock band when Swedish singer Johan Fahlberg joined the band in 2005. The first album with Johan, "Helluva Time", proved to be a great success. It contains the band's version of "Paid My Dues", which was originally sung by Anastacia. The album was released on Frontiers Records and became a milestone in the history of Jaded Heart. In 2006, Swedish guitarist Peter Östros joined the band. Two more albums were recorded with this line-up: "Sinister Mind" (2007) and "Perfect Insanity" (2009). The critically acclaimed tenth album "Common Destiny" was released in spring 2012, followed by extensive touring, including tours of Japan in 2010 and 2013. In 2014, the band brought their friends Masahiro Eto (guitar) and Bodo Stricker (drums) into the band. After a successful European tour with Masterplan, Jaded Heart released their eleventh studio album "Fight The System" in September, followed by the Wacken roadshows in Europe. In spring 2016, the band signed a new record deal and returned with their twelfth studio album "Guilty By Design". The album contains their live anthem "No Reason" as well as fast headbangers like "Godforsaken".
The album "Devil's Gift" was released on March 30, 2018 and reached the top 10 of the German metal charts. The follow-up album "Stand Your Ground" was released worldwide on November 27, 2020.
Masa Eto moved to a role in the background team for personal reasons. The new album "Heart Attack" was released on October 14, 2022 and contains the two singles "Heart Attack" and "Blood Red Skies". The song "Heart Attack" was co-written with Rupert Keplinger (Eisbrecher, Lord of the Lost and many more).
2026 Jaded Heart are "back home" and have signed another worldwide record deal with Frontiers Records! The band is currently in the studio working on the brand new album "TOXIC", which will be released in fall 2026.
