Christina Pellens Have you ever noticed the small red stamps on Asian calligraphy and ink paintings? These seals often stand for names, collectors or artists and originally served as a kind of "signature" on documents. From the 15th century onwards, seal cutting developed into an independent art form alongside brush writing. There are different types: Name seals or those with a saying or poem. In the limited taster course "Seal cutting" you will cut a seal yourself and get ideas on what and how you can artistically design with seals. Course fee 70,- € incl. material costs, reservation required via the website.
