In the organizer's words:

It's that time again: our exhibition series "Jazz for the Eye" is going into the next round! After three successful editions, we are delighted to invite you to the fourth edition in August 2025 - and in a new, exciting location: the WERKHALLE Ehrenfeld in Cologne.

For two weeks, we will be transforming this newly renovated industrial space into a contemporary art gallery. The WERKHALLE is located in the creative heart of Ehrenfeld - a place with character, history and plenty of potential for lively art presentations.

What can you expect?

As the name suggests, "Jazz for the Eye" stands for a compositional, lively compilation of artworks. It's not about the works having anything to do with music or jazz. Rather, it is the way they are hung, the dynamics, the contrasts and transitions between the works that create the special "jazz feeling".

We are showing an exciting mix of established Grevy artists and fresh positions that enrich our exhibition landscape. Sometimes quiet and poetic, sometimes loud and wild - this diversity makes "Jazz for the Eye" an experience for the senses.

Opening hours
Tuesdays to Fridays 3 to 7 pm

Why we are particularly looking forward to this exhibition

For us, this exhibition is more than just another edition of our series. It is a step out of the familiar spaces and into new contexts. The WERKHALLE gives us the opportunity to play with space, light and atmosphere - and to create something special together with our artists and guests.

Come along, bring friends and let yourself be inspired - by a place that pulsates and by art that cannot be squeezed into fixed forms.

We look forward to seeing you!
