Jazz im Sommergarten mit Meier's Clan

The saxophone quartet from Berlin and Potsdam delights its audience with arrangements from various genres.

Everything from classical music to film music is on offer. The quartet also interprets ragtime, Charleston, tango, standards from swing and jazz history through to songs by the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, John Miles, Queen, Adele, Lady Gaga and many others.

Their own arrangements give Meier's Clan a very special personal touch. From the warm low sound of the baritone to the striking high sounds of the soprano saxophone, the quartet creates constantly changing acoustic impressions that sometimes make the audience forget that there are only four saxophones to be heard.

The evening will be opened by the band Achiver from the Hennigsdorf music school.
